DVD Authoring and Video Editing for Training/ Educational video

| Situation: |
Part of the School Specialty group of companies, Premier is a leading education services firm, supplying a variety of educational products from planners to teaching materials to over 35,000 schools across North America. In this project they are the distributor for a series of educational videos to be marketed to various Canadian School Boards. They had original master beta tapes of the videos. They wanted to reproduce the videos in DVD with new menus and formats suitable for the local market.

We collaborated with the art director from Premier and their design team, i to i Design, during the initial conceptual design stage to come up with the overall overlook of the DVD menus. We designed and animated the intro reel featuring the Premier company logo. We digitalized the beta tapes footages using 2 pass VBR, high bit-rate encoder. We rearranged and edited the nine videos into five DVDs with new motion menus, animated intro, new layout and new format to Premier's specifications. Master discs were authored and DLT tapes produced on time and within budget for Premier.
